- Seasonal produce : Fresh figs, honey
Ingredients
For the waffles:
- 250 g of flour

2 eggs

50 g of sugar

60 g of melted butter
- 50 cl of milk
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 4 fresh figs
- 4 tbsp honey (acacia or all flowers)
Chef's tip : For even softer waffles, let the batter rest for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking.
Preparations
1. Waffles

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar.
- Add the milk, then gradually stir in the flour, yeast and salt.
- Add the melted butter and mix until you get a smooth paste. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease the plates if necessary.
- Pour a ladle of batter into the waffle iron and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the waffles are golden brown.
2. Dressing

Cut the figs into quarters and arrange them on the still-hot waffles.
- Drizzle with a little honey just before serving.
