Preparations


1. Waffles

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar.​
  2. Add the milk, then gradually stir in the flour, yeast and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and mix until you get a smooth paste. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease the plates if necessary.​
  5. Pour a ladle of batter into the waffle iron and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the waffles are golden brown.

2. Dressing

  1. Cut the figs into quarters and arrange them on the still-hot waffles.​
  2. Drizzle with a little honey just before serving.
